All About CroquetThe two basic games of croquet, which are mainly played in croquet clubs and for which the rules are well documented, are “Golf” and “Association” croquet.
Both games are played by two sides, each playing a pair of balls. Yellow and red play together as do black and blue.
Both games can be played as singles or doubles, and have effective handicapping systems which allow players of different ability to play against each other.
