Welcome
Forget the myths about croquet. Medway Croquet Club has no shrubbery, no flamingos and no rule permitting a foot on the ball! Nevertheless, we all hugely enjoy playing croquet, providing, as it does, a mix of joy and exasperation, relaxation and tension, not to mention planning ahead while making life difficult for one’s opponent! Twelve of us formed the club in 1991 with no skills, no equipment and a “lawn” which had a three foot slope! In contrast, we now have a well-established, successful club, affiliated to Cobdown Sports and Social Club (CSSC), with five lawns, a pavilion, a wealth of equipment and a new website packed with all the information you need to get you out on the court! Please have a look around our website, you will find all sorts of information within these pages.  Summer has arrived, it's official! Our lawns are now open for play. Lawn 1 is shut for maintenance, so please choose another one. Lawn 4 has not been marked out, so is unavailable.
Please see the weekly program of play by clicking on 'Upcoming Events' on the banner on the left Keys to the pavilion are available to members who have not been issued with one. A deposit of £10 is required - please apply to David Parkins. In the interest of security please ensure that all equipment is locked away when leaving the lawns, even if only for a short time.
