WelcomeA note from the Chairman Forget the myths about croquet. Medway Croquet Club has no shrubbery, no flamingos and no rule permitting a foot on the ball! Nevertheless, we all hugely enjoy playing croquet, providing, as it does, a mix of joy and exasperation, relaxation and tension, not to mention planning ahead while making life difficult for one’s opponent! Twelve of us formed the club in 1991 with no skills, no equipment and a “lawn” which had a three foot slope! In contrast, we now have a well-established, successful club with four lawns, a pavilion, a wealth of equipment and a new website packed with all the information you need to get you out on the green! A deposit of £10 is required - please apply to David Parkins. PRACTISE YOUR GOLF CROQUET - by coming along to the Club on Thursdays and Sundays at 11am.
